The group made a foray into renewable energy generation by setting up a Biomass based power plant. The part of power generation was used for foundry operation. This Power project was among one the first of its kind to get registered as the clean development mechanism (CDM) project under the Kyoto protocol. The aim of this project was to reduce climate change, causing greenhouse gases. We have received the carbon credits as a CDM Project. In this project, RBS and SAMPRA ENERGY were project participants. Shivalik group has been an instinct to keep in pace with the dynamics of a rapidly growing market by absorbing & offering new latest manufacturing technology. Today, the Shivalik group is one of India’s largest foundry unit manufacturing all grades of ductile iron & cast iron to the tune of over 84,000 TPA. Shivalik group is a leading Gray & S.G.
