Manager - Projects (SS)
Job Summary
Lead end-to-end substation construction execution, ensuring project delivery in line with approved timelines, milestones, and business objectives. Drive subcontractor performance, resource optimization, and effective resolution of site execution challenges to maintain productivity. Ensure compliance with Quality, EHS, and statutory requirements while proactively managing risks, costs, variations, and project controls. Coordinate stakeholders, lead site reviews, and develop high-performing teams to foster ownership, safety, collaboration, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end substation construction activities at site to ensure completion as per approved project timelines and milestones.
- Monitor and control subcontractor performance , including resource deployment, productivity, work fronts and timely resolution of execution constraints.
- Ensure adherence to Quality, EHS and statutory requirements throughout site construction and drive closure of observations/non-conformities.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, subcontractors, consultants and customers for seamless execution.
- Monitor project costs, site overheads, variations and claims within the approved budget and delegated authority.
- Drive site reviews and timely decision-making , ensuring actions, MoMs and commitments are tracked to closure.
- Lead and develop the site team , building a strong culture of ownership, collaboration, safety and execution excellence.

- Effective subcontractor/resource management and execution productivity
- Construction within approved cost, overhead and authority parameters
