Role Summary
SecPod is seeking a customer-focused Manager - Professional Services to lead the team responsible for implementing the Saner Platform across enterprise customer environments.
You will lead engagements from discovery and scoping through deployment, adoption and operational handover. You will also develop the Professional Services team, strengthen delivery practices, and guide project governance, customer change management and services scoping to ensure engagements meet customer goals and SecPod s delivery commitments.
What You ll Do
Lead the Professional Services Team
- Lead, coach and develop Professional Services engineers, setting clear expectations for delivery quality, customer engagement and accountability.
- Plan team capacity and assign resources across engagements, balancing customer priorities, technical skills and timelines.
- Build consistent implementation methods, standards, documentation and knowledge-sharing practices.
Govern Project Delivery and Customer Change
- Oversee enterprise implementations from discovery and planning through deployment, validation, training and operational handover.
- Establish project governance, including scope, success criteria, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, customer responsibilities and status reporting.
- Track risks, issues, decisions and scope changes; identify delivery concerns early and lead corrective or recovery plans.
- Align deployments with customer change processes, approvals, maintenance windows, security requirements and operational constraints.
- Coordinate customer readiness, testing, deployment planning, training, adoption and acceptance.
Lead Services Scoping and Commercial Planning
- Develop customized Professional Services scopes based on customer requirements, solution design, delivery complexity and desired outcomes.
- Define deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, resource mix, effort estimates and timelines.
- Develop costing and pricing inputs for services proposals with Sales, Finance and leadership, following SecPod s commercial guidelines and approval process.
- Present and explain proposed scope, effort, timelines and pricing to customers, aligning expectations before work begins.
- Assess scope changes for their impact on cost, resources, deliverables and timelines; coordinate proposals and approvals before additional work proceeds.
- Review estimated and actual delivery effort to improve future scoping and estimation accuracy.
Provide Technical and Customer Guidance
- Guide the team in designing Saner deployments across on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
- Provide technical oversight for implementations involving vulnerability and patch management, compliance, asset discovery and related security capabilities.
- Support the team in resolving complex implementation and integration challenges.
- Help customers align implementation plans with their security, operational and remediation goals.
Work Across SecPod
- Partner with Sales on discovery, solution scoping, estimates, proposals and handover to confirm requirements and delivery readiness.
- Coordinate with Customer Success and Support to ensure clear ownership and a smooth transition after implementation.
- Work with Product and Engineering to share customer feedback and address recurring deployment challenges.
What You ll Bring
- 8+ years of experience in Professional Services, cybersecurity implementation, technical consulting, Technical Account Management or a related customer-facing technical role.
- At least 3 years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
- Experience managing multiple enterprise implementations and customer stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scope and schedule control, risk and dependency management, governance and stakeholder communication.
- Experience developing customized services scopes, estimating effort and resources, and contributing to project costing and pricing.
- Experience preparing or reviewing proposals, Statements of Work or similar documents, and discussing scope, estimates and pricing with customers.
- Understanding of cybersecurity platforms and enterprise implementation practices, particularly vulnerability management, patch management or compliance.
- Ability to guide technical teams and oversee deployments across on-premises, cloud or hybrid environments.
- Strong customer communication, problem-solving and escalation-management skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with structured, Agile or hybrid project delivery approaches.
- Familiarity with customer IT change control, deployment approvals and change advisory boards.
- Exposure to enterprise technologies such as Windows and Linux, Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint management, ITSM platforms, security integrations or public cloud platforms.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent project management certification; relevant cybersecurity, cloud or change management certifications are also valued.

- Implementations meet agreed scope, timelines and quality expectations, and customers are prepared to operate the solution after handover.
- Delivery risks and scope changes are identified early and managed with clear ownership and timely decisions.
- Scopes and estimates are accurate, appropriately resourced and aligned with customer outcomes and delivery capacity.
- Team capacity, delivery quality, customer feedback and estimation accuracy improve over time.
- Reusable implementation practices help improve delivery consistency and reduce time to deploy.
