Job Summary:

Kataria Business Insurance Consultancy is looking for a responsible and experienced Claims Manager to handle jewellery insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end jewellery insurance claims, from claim intimation to final settlement.
• Review and verify claim documents, invoices, stock records, FIRs, valuation reports, and other supporting documents.
• Understand policy terms, coverage, exclusions, and claim conditions.
• Coordinate with clients, insurance companies, surveyors, loss assessors, and other parties for smooth claim processing.
• Follow up regularly on pending claims and ensure timely settlement.
• Assist clients in understanding claim procedures and documentation requirements.
• Review loss details and assess the validity of claims as per policy terms.
• Coordinate for surveys, inspections, investigations, and valuation wherever required.
• Negotiate and follow up with insurers and surveyors to achieve fair and timely claim settlements.
• Maintain proper claim files, records, MIS, and status reports.
• Handle multiple claims simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Good understanding of claim documentation and policy wordings.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.

Candidates with experience in an insurance company, insurance broker, surveyor firm, or claims consultancy will be preferred.

Location: Marine Lines, Mumbai – Work from Office.
