    About this role

    Job Description

As a Manager of the Marketing Effectiveness business unit at NIQ, you will be a key contributor to how top global FMCG (and other) companies optimize their media investments. You will manage the delivery of marketing effectiveness analytical solutions, with a strong focus on Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) & Matched Market Tests (MMT). This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, solid client-facing relationship skills, and the ability to coordinate internal and external resources to bring insights to life. Your recommendations will directly support and shape tactical media investments for leading global brands.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage Media Analytics Engagements: Execute and deliver Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and other media effectiveness solutions to answer critical client business questions and help optimize their future media spend.

    • Coordinate Cross-Functional Delivery: Manage client engagements by synchronizing resources and timelines across global internal NIQ teams, media agencies, publishers, and clients to ensure smooth execution in a fast-paced environment.

    • Translate Data into Strategy: Transform complex statistical outputs into clear, compelling data stories. Explain methodologies to non-technical stakeholders and deliver action-oriented media recommendations.

    • Build Client Partnerships: Serve as a trusted partner to client stakeholders (Managers, Directors), navigating business challenges, resolving day-to-day issues, and supporting the integration of our analytic solutions into their activation strategies.

    • Support Team Excellence: Mentor and guide junior analysts and team members. Help optimize workflows, manage shifting priorities, and contribute to enhancing the Marketing Effectiveness team's capabilities through process improvements.

    • Support Business Growth: Collaborate with senior leadership and the sales organization to demonstrate the value of our analytics, helping identify opportunities to expand client engagements.

    Qualifications

    Experience & Expertise

    • Industry & Media Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in Analytics, Consulting, Media, Market Research, or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).

    • Media Analytics & MMM: Strong hands-on experience in media effectiveness analytics, with a clear focus on Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and attribution frameworks.

    • Client Partnerships: Solid relationship-building skills with a proven track record of advising clients. Adept at navigating complex situations collaboratively and executing solutions that drive tangible business value.

    • Delivery & Orchestration: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-faceted initiatives. Skilled at coordinating cross-functional resources, managing priorities, and ensuring reliable execution across internal teams, agencies, and clients.

    • Analytical Acumen: Applies rigorous logic, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking to translate data into actionable solutions for manufacturer marketing and CPG business challenges.

    • Polished Data Storytelling: A capable communicator and presenter who bridges the gap between technical methodologies and strategic business narratives for non-technical audiences.

    • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Strong team player dedicated to fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture. Contributes to process improvements and supports team skill development with accountability.

    Education

    • Education: Bachelor's degree required.

    • Education+: Advanced degree in an analytics-focused, mathematical, or quantitative discipline is an asset.

    • Technical Foundation: Solid foundational background in marketing research with working knowledge of statistical and data science methodologies, and how to apply them to real-world business objectives.
