About this role
Department/Process: Marketing
Reports to: Marketing Head
Location: Pune Business Office (Head Office)
Qualification: Engineering (Electrical / Electronics). PG in Marketing.
Experience & Skills: More than 8–10 years of experience in handling sales / marketing roles. Preference as follows: Pref #1: Lighting and Outdoor domain Pref #2: Only Lighting domain Pref #3: Electrical field and preferably in Marketing Pref #4: Building Construction Industry in Marketing Pref #5: Smart Sales Executive with 6 to 8 years Technical knowledge in the lighting field is an added advantage. Candidate should have relevant experience in allied industries, like controls, building material industry, etc. Good communication skills, man management skills, analytical and technical skills. Should have experience in interacting with technically strong stakeholders like electrical consultants, lighting consultants, technical managers in Government departments like CE, etc.
Primary Function: Responsible for driving functions like 1. New Product Introduction 2. Managing gross contributions / profitability by way of price management 3. Conducting promotional events for customers, dealers, and internal teams 4. Competition and market analysis 5. Managing external marketing agencies for collaterals and MarComm
Responsibilities: 1. Price approvals to Sales Team. Managing pressure from Sales on pricing and decisively taking correct decisions on contributions, thus being responsible for profitability from the Outdoor segment. 2. Sales & Lighting Solutions (Design) team skill improvement programs, like product training, technology training, etc. 3. Launch of new products by identifying product gaps through market and competition benchmarking. 4. Preparing and launching marketing collaterals for Sales and LSG teams. 5. Ensuring marketing initiatives for social media platforms, like LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. 6. Managing external marketing agencies for collaterals and MarComm. 7. Knowledge of Smart & Connected Lighting and Lighting Management Systems. 8. Cross-department coordination for product management. 9. Travel across geographies for market development and promotional events. Should be willing to travel between 14 to 24 days in a quarter. 10. Performing branch analysis. 11. Maintaining regional key accounts for promotional plans. 12. Product benchmarking for lighting and Smart & Connected solutions.
