Role & responsibilities

• To independently manage and support the legal function for domestic and cross-border commercial operations of the Company/Group, with primary focus on contracts, legal advisory, and transactional support.
• To ensure efficient contracting processes, practical risk management, and timely legal support to business teams.
• Review, draft, vet, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of domestic and international commercial contracts, including supply, purchase, manufacturing, service, distribution, confidentiality, licensing, and other variety of business agreements.
• Provide practical legal advice on contract interpretation, risk allocation, liability management, and dispute mitigation.
• Support implementation and administration of the contract management system, including template management, workflow coordination, repository discipline, and reporting.
• Support DPDP compliance initiatives, including contract and policy alignment, data processing documentation, vendor/customer clauses, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Work on intellectual property-related matters under the guidance of the reporting manager, including coordination on trademarks, copyrights, confidentiality, and related protections.
• Support the reporting manager in legal aspects of corporate transactions, due diligence, documentation, and post-transaction follow-up, as required.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and business teams to ensure timely closure of legal matters.
• Maintain proper records, reporting, and trackers for contracts, legal matters, and action items.
• As needed, contribute to compliance-related matters and readiness initiatives, while the core focus remains on corporate legal and contract management responsibilities.
