Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data / Integration Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and SQL. The ideal candidate should have experience building data platforms from scratch, developing reliable data pipelines, and leading technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data platforms using Snowflake.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize dbt models, tests, and data transformations.
• Build and manage data ingestion pipelines using Fivetran and approved file/API integrations.
• Develop complex SQL queries and implement efficient ETL/ELT processes.
• Implement incremental data loading, data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, schema changes, and production data issues.
• Work with Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers and dimensional data models.
• Manage Git workflows, CI/CD, code reviews, and production deployments.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Handle task allocation, delivery tracking, dependencies, and technical team coordination.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and SQL.
• Experience building and implementing Snowflake data platforms from scratch.
• Minimum 2 years of technical team handling or delivery leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, incremental loading, data modeling, and data quality.
• Experience delivering at least two production data platform implementations.
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory, with the ability to communicate effectively with US stakeholders, architects, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, technical documentation, and team coordination skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with MDM, Profisee, data governance, and metadata management.
• Exposure to Power BI trusted datasets and financial/investment data.
• Experience working with distributed or offshore delivery teams.
