Role Overview We are looking for an experienced
IT Manager to lead and manage
network infrastructure, data security, and IT support operations . This role will be critical in ensuring
secure, scalable, and efficient IT systems that support Amber’s global operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
network management, cybersecurity practices, and end-user IT support , along with experience leading IT teams.
Key Responsibilities (Network, Data Security & IT Support) 1. Network Management & Infrastructure
- Oversee and manage
company-wide network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
- Ensure
high availability, performance, and scalability of network systems.
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues.
- Manage vendor relationships for network hardware and services.
2. Data Security, Compliance, Access Management (CRITICAL)
- Implement and maintain
robust cybersecurity frameworks to protect company data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with
data protection standards and best practices .
- Conduct regular
security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation .
- Manage
access controls, data privacy protocols, and incident response planning .
- Ownership of access management of 100+ business softwares/tools across the organisation.
- Ensure optimal utilization and high security of IT softwares/platforms/tools across the organization. 3. IT Support & Asset Management
- Lead IT support operations ensuring
timely resolution of technical issues across teams.
- Establish and maintain
SLA-driven support processes .
- Manage onboarding/offboarding IT setup (devices, access, tools).
- Ownership of complete IT Asset Management and procurement. 4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor the IT support team, driving performance and accountability.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver IT solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in IT processes and user experience.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: 5–8+ years in IT infrastructure, network management, and Data Security roles.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing IT Teams.
- Technical Expertise:
- Networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewalls)
- Data Security & Data Protection
- IT Support & Helpdesk Operations
- Key Behavioral Skills
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively communicate, create buy-in for new projects and work cross-functionally teams to drive results.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with learning and implementing new technologies including but not limited AI, advanced data security, etc.
