Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax professional to manage GST compliance, litigation, advisory, and tax governance activities while supporting business stakeholders on indirect tax matters.

Key Responsibilities
•    Manage GST and other indirect tax compliances, including return filings, reconciliations, and statutory reporting.
•    Handle GST notices, audits, assessments, appeals, and representations before tax authorities.
•    Provide GST advisory on business transactions, contracts, and new business initiatives.
•    Review Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility, GST refunds, and compliance positions.
•    Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants on indirect tax matters.
•    Drive tax process improvement, automation initiatives, and compliance risk management.
•    Ensure robust tax documentation, governance, and internal controls.

Qualifications & Skills
•    Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
•    6-10 years of experience in Indirect Taxation with strong exposure to GST.
•    Proven experience in GST compliance, litigation, assessments, audits, and advisory.
•    Strong understanding of Input Tax Credit (ITC), GST refunds, and indirect tax regulations.
•    Experience in handling tax authorities, audits, assessments, and appeals.
•    Good understanding of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and tax automation tools.
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
