Position Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and knowledgeable HR Payroll Compliance Specialist/Manager to oversee our HR operations, payroll processing, and legal compliance frameworks. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning our employment practices with Indian Labour Laws and managing the full lifecycle of statutory employee contributions (EPF, ESI, Professional Tax, LWF, TDS).
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Indian labor regulations, payroll accounting, and statutory filing, ensuring our organization remains 100% compliant while providing top-tier support to our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Manage labor office interactions, coordinate inspections, and maintain mandatory registers, records, and display boards across all locations.
Employees Provident Fund (EPF): Manage EPF/EPS enrollments, monthly electronic challan-cum-returns (ECR) generation, filings, transfers, and withdrawal processing.
Employees State Insurance (ESI) LWF: Administer ESI contributions and Labour Welfare Fund deductions and quarterly/annual filings where applicable.
Required Qualifications Skills
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources (MBA HR), Labour Welfare, Law (LL.B), or a related field.
Experience: 3-6+ years of hands-on experience in core HR operations, payroll processing, and Indian labor compliance.
Domain Expertise: Expert knowledge of Indian statutory frameworks (EPF Act, ESI Act, PT Acts, Gratuity, Income Tax rules relating to salary).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, impeccable attention to detail, ethical judgment, and clear communication skills.
