Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing of Income Tax returns, TDS returns, and other statutory returns.
• Ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, GST laws, and other applicable regulations.
• Monthly review of TDS deductions, GST reconciliations, and tax payments.
• Handling notices, assessments, scrutiny proceedings, and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Preparation of tax workings, advance tax computations, and tax provisioning.
• Coordination with tax consultants and auditors for timely closure of assessments and audits.
• Monitoring tax updates and assessing their impact on the business.
• Support management reporting and MIS preparation.
• Preparation of detailed cost sheet.
• Reconciliation of vendors.

Requirements

• Qualified CA
• 2+ years of relevant experience in direct and indirect taxation, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as Zoho, Tally, or similar platforms will be preferred.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, GST, and corporate taxation.
• Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
