Manager - Finance & Accounts

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

• Lead end-to-end accounting operations and finalization of accounts for assigned entities.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct periodic ledger scrutiny, trial balance review, and financial analysis.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures in SAP.

Audit & Compliance Management:

• Coordinate and manage Statutory Audits, Internal Audits, and other regulatory audits.
• Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance requirements.
• Monitor accounting and financial compliance across all assigned projects/entities.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and governance frameworks.

Banking & Treasury Operations :

• Monitor preparation and review of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Oversee cash flow and fund flow management for projects and entities.
• Coordinate with treasury teams for fund utilization, reporting, and financial planning.

Project Finance & Business Analysis:

• Prepare project finance reports, feasibility studies, and due diligence reports for management decisions.
• Support fundraising, financial structuring, and project evaluation activities.
• Analyze project performance and provide financial insights to leadership.

Real Estate Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure timely preparation and submission of quarterly and annual RERA filings.
• Monitor compliance with all project-related statutory and regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement & Governance:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and controls.
• Improve operational efficiency through system and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit recommendations and corrective action plans.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

A qualified Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in the Real Estate sector, possessing strong expertise in financial accounting, audits, project finance, RERA compliance, SAP FICO/HANA, and treasury management. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive process improvements while ensuring robust financial controls and regulatory compliance.
