Techdome has grown past the point where founders, a CA firm, and a few spreadsheets can keep finance clean. We operate across India, the US and the UAE. We bill overseas clients in foreign currency, run payroll for a growing team, and juggle multiple bank accounts, tools and compliance calendars.
You will own all of it: books, payroll, banking ops, compliance and receivables, across every entity.
You are not a data-entry accountant. You are not a part-time compliance filer. You are the person the founders trust to close the books on time, every month. You tell them exactly where the cash is, and you make sure nothing statutory ever slips.
- Own the monthly close. Books for every entity in Zoho Books, closed by the 7th working day. That covers bank reconciliations, accruals, intercompany entries between India, US and UAE, and a clean trial balance. No backlogs, no "well fix it at year-end."
- Run payroll end to end. You run the monthly payroll on Keka. You handle PF, ESI, PT and TDS deposits on time, plus full final settlements, Form 16s and payroll queries. Every employee is paid correctly and on time, every month.
- Run banking operations with discipline. You prepare payment batches, vendor payments and payment runs on a maker-checker model: you prepare, a founder approves. You manage FIRC/FEMA documentation for foreign receipts and keep bank relationships and cash positions tracked daily.
- Own the compliance calendar. That means GST (including exports under LUT), TDS returns, advance tax and ROC filings, and coordinating with our external CA firm and auditors. You are the single point of accountability: if a deadline is missed, its on you, so it wont be.
- Get cash in the door. Invoicing, receivables ageing and collections follow-up. You flag slow payers early and help escalate disputes with documentation that holds up.
- Give the founders a real view of the business. A monthly PL by entity and by project, a 13-week cash flow forecast, and a simple founder dashboard. When we ask "can we afford this hire", you have the answer in an hour, not a week.
- Fix the process, then automate it. We are an automation company. Expect to work with our team to automate reconciliations, reminders, reporting and approvals with n8n and AI tooling. Bring the finance logic and well help you build the workflows.
Non-negotiable:
- 3-6 years in accounts and finance, ideally at an IT services, SaaS or tech company of 50-300 people. We want in-house operating experience, not only audit.
- B.Com / M.Com; CA Inter or semi-qualified CA strongly preferred.
- Hands-on with export-of-services accounting: foreign currency invoicing, GST on exports and LUT, FIRC/FEMA.
- Has run payroll and payroll compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS) personally, not just reviewed it.
- Has handled more than one legal entity and inter-company accounting.
- Rigorous, organised and comfortable owning deadlines without being chased.
Strongly preferred:
- Working knowledge of Zoho Books and Keka (or similar accounting/HRMS tools).
- Exposure to US books (QuickBooks, US entity accounting) or UAE/DIFC compliance.
Welcome but not required:
- Comfort with automation or AI tools, or curiosity to learn them. Youll be surrounded by people who build them.

- Big-firm brand names. Show us the books youve kept clean, the closes youve owned and the messes youve fixed.
- Rahul Joshi (CEO): your reporting manager. Direct, fast, expects ownership.
- Gaurav Chouhan (CTO): co-founder and joint approver on finance decisions.
- Our external CA firm and auditors, HR, and project leads.
