Manager – Export Sales

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand export business across international markets.
• Identify and acquire new overseas customers, distributors, agents, and business opportunities.
• Handle export enquiries, RFQs, quotations, negotiations, and commercial contracts.
• Understand and coordinate customers' technical and commercial requirements.
• Manage complete export order execution from order receipt through documentation and shipment.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export procedures.
• Coordinate export documentation, logistics, freight forwarders, and shipment schedules.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in international exhibitions, trade fairs, customer visits, and business meetings.
• Achieve export sales targets and contribute to international market expansion.
• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, market analysis, and business development plans.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with global customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and potential new markets.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in Export Sales / International Business Development from an engineering or manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of export documentation, Incoterms, international logistics, payment terms, and commercial terms.
• Proven experience handling overseas customers and developing international markets.
• Strong B2B sales and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Good understanding of technical products and engineering/manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
