Manager- Estimator- Mobility Infrastructure

Position Summary:

To preparing accurate and competitive project estimates for EPC Projects, during the tendering and pre-contract stage. The incumbent will undertake detailed quantity take-offs, BOQ validation, first-principle costing, rate analysis and assessment of material, labour, plant & machinery and subcontracting costs. This role will work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Tendering teams to develop commercially competitive bids.

Role & responsibilities:

1. Estimation & Costing

• Review tender documents, drawings and BOQs; prepare quantity take-offs and validate quantities.
• Develop first-principal cost estimates and rate analysis covering material, labour, plant, subcontracting and indirect costs.
• Benchmark costs using market rates, productivity norms and historical project data.

2. Vendor & Subcontractor Costing

• Obtain and evaluate quotations for key materials, equipment and subcontracting packages.
• Prepare vendor/subcontractor cost comparisons and adjudications based on prevailing market rates.

3. Tender Evaluation & Risk Assessment

• Assess site conditions and identify cost risks, assumptions, exclusions and opportunities.
• Drive value engineering and cost optimization in coordination with cross-functional teams.

4. Estimate Finalization & Tender Support

• Consolidate estimates and prepare cost summaries for management review and approval.
• Support bid submissions, clarifications and handover of estimates to execution teams.
• Maintain historical cost data, productivity norms and estimation benchmarks.

Preferred candidate profile

7 to 12 years of relevant experience in Estimation / Costing / Tender Estimation within Mobility, Strategic Infrastructure.

Skills:

• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project and relevant Estimation tools.
• Quantity Take-off & BOQ Preparation / Validation
• Strong analytical and numerical ability
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ownership-driven and deadline-oriented approach
