Experience Required: 5+ years in ERP systems, with at least 2 years in TCS iON / Zoho ERP (preferred)

Position Overview

The ERP Manager will be responsible for the administration, implementation, configuration, user support, and continuous improvement of the TCS iON / Zoho ERP platform. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Finance, HR, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Sales to ensure that ERP workflows are aligned with business objectives and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. ERP System Administration

• Manage daily operations of the TCS iON / Zoho ERP system, including system availability, user access, and module integrity.
• Configure user roles, permissions, workflows, and dashboards based on departmental needs.
• Maintain ERP master data and ensure data consistency across modules.
• Monitor controls, authorise accesses , master creation, setup of new units, new financial year, year end activities as per SOPs.
• Raising tickets for shortfalls / new requirements based on dept feedback , follow up on the same.
• Ensuring training in TCS iON / Zoho ERP modules to the new entrants across plants and corporate office on need bases.

2. ERP Implementation and Enhancement

• Lead and coordinate new ERP module implementations and upgrades in collaboration with TCS iON / Zoho and internal teams.
• Gather business requirements, map them to ERP functionalities, and prepare gap analysis.
• Customise forms, fields, and reports to suit process needs in coordination with ERP consultants.

3. User Support and Training

• Serve as the first line of support for all ERP-related user queries and issues.
• Train end-users and department champions on ERP functionality, best practices, and usage protocols.
• Maintain user manuals, SOPs, and quick reference guides.

4. Change Management and Process Improvement

• Identify process inefficiencies and propose ERP-based automation or optimisation.
• Liaise with business heads to refine workflows and ensure the ERP supports business transformation.
• Implement version control and track changes across modules.

5. Vendor and Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary liaison between the organisation and TCS iON / Zoho support/implementation teams.
• Coordinate escalations, service requests, bug fixes, and new development timelines.
• Ensure SLAs are met and issues are resolved within defined TATs.
• Negotiation and cost optimization for existing and new contracts.

6. Reporting and Analytics

• Develop and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports for operational, financial, and management decision-making.
• Implement dashboards and KPIs across departments for business visibility.

7. Compliance, Security and Data Integrity

• Ensure ERP data privacy and user access align with compliance requirements (e.g., DPDP Act 2023, National and international IT acts, standards and practices).
• Periodically audit roles, logs, and workflows to detect unauthorised access or anomalies.
• Implement data backup and restoration procedures in coordination with IT infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.

• Certifications in ERP systems or project management (e.g., PMP, ITIL, TCS iON / Zoho functional certifications) are a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing ERP systems, preferably with TCS iON / Zoho.
