About this role
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Manager with a passion for portfolio construction, portfolio monitoring, and communication to investors. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with regular close monitoring and the ability to communicate investment ideas effectively to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively manage equity portfolios aligned with investment objectives.
- Monitor portfolio risk, including beta, sector and stock concentration, liquidity, drawdown, and valuation, and implement corrective actions when required.
- Track portfolio performance versus benchmark using key metrics such as Alpha, Sharpe Ratio, Information Ratio, Tracking Error, Maximum Drawdown, and Hit Ratio.
- Prepare investment reports, quarterly investor letters, and market outlook presentations.
- Present portfolio strategy and investment rationale to clients and participate in investor meetings and webinars.
- Collaborate closely with Research, Dealing, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Relationship Management to ensure efficient portfolio execution.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, investment mandates, and internal investment policies.
Desired Profile:
- MBA (Finance), CA, or CFA with 23 years of experience in Equity Research, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), Asset Management Companies (AMC), or Institutional Investing.
- NISM Portfolio Manager Certification.
