Qualification Required - Diploma/ Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering
Experience - 10+ Years of Experience in MEP
Required Skill Set - AutoCAD, MS-Excel and BOQ preparation.
Relevant Industry - Construction Company / Engineering Company (MEP)
Job Profile -
- Hands-on experience in estimation and quantity take-off for Fire Fighting, Plumbing, FAPA systems, etc.
- Calculate quantities of pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, sanitary fixtures, and other related materials.
- Prepare rate analysis, cost summaries, and project budgets.
- Prepare revised estimates and cost calculations for additional works, extra items, and changes in project scope.
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs to understand and identify the complete scope of work.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), tender estimates, commercial offers, and client quotations.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Design, Project, and Sales teams for technical clarifications, material pricing, and project requirements.
- Verify material specifications, approved makes, and technical compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Maintain and update estimation sheets, BOQs, rate analysis, vendor quotations, and other estimation-related records.
- Identify missing items, discrepancies, and variations in drawings, specifications, and BOQs, and coordinate for necessary clarifications.
