Manager Electrical - Projects: SMS

• Execute assigned electrical systems and equipment packages.
• Review electrical drawings, SLDs, cable schedules, layouts, and equipment specifications.
• Supervise installation of HT/LT panels, transformers, MCCs, PCCs, bus ducts, cables, lighting, earthing, and auxiliary electrical systems.
• Coordinate electrical installation activities with contractors and equipment suppliers.
• Monitor cable laying, termination, glanding, dressing, tagging, and testing.
• Supervise installation and commissioning of motors, drives, control panels, and electrical auxiliaries.
• Coordinate with Mechanical and Automation teams for equipment interfaces.
• Ensure proper electrical connections and interlocks for SMS equipment.
• Conduct and monitor insulation resistance, continuity, earth resistance, cable testing, and other required electrical tests.
• Support HT/LT energization activities and equipment commissioning.
• Coordinate with OEMs for testing and commissioning of electrical packages.
• Monitor contractor manpower, work fronts, productivity, and daily progress.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, inspection plans, and safety procedures.
• Identify electrical installation defects and ensure timely rectification.
• Maintain test reports, inspection records, cable schedules, as-built drawings, and commissioning documentation.
• Participate in pre-commissioning, dry runs, trial runs, and performance testing.
• Ensure closure of electrical punch points before final handover.
