Manager - Direct Tax

About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced professional to join our Direct Tax team, focusing on International Tax and Corporate Tax. The role will involve advising clients on complex tax matters, managing engagements, and working closely with senior stakeholders and client teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on Indian Corporate Tax and International Tax matters.
• Handle tax advisory, compliance, and consulting engagements across multiple industries.
• Work on cross-border transactions, tax implications, and international tax matters.
• Provide support on DTAA, withholding tax, transfer pricing interfaces, and other international tax matters.
• Analyse tax positions and provide practical solutions in line with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage client engagements, timelines, deliverables, and team members.
• Review tax computations, assessments, submissions, and other client deliverables.
• Work closely with internal teams and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality client solutions.
• Stay updated on changes in Indian tax laws, international tax regulations, and regulatory developments.

Requirements

• CA / CA + relevant tax qualification preferred.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Direct Tax, International Tax, or Corporate Tax.
• Strong experience in Indian Corporate Tax and International Tax.
• Good understanding of DTAA, cross-border taxation, withholding tax, and corporate tax provisions.
• Experience in a Big 4 / Big 10 or leading tax consulting firm
