Job Title: Manager - Direct Tax & Regulatory Services

Qualification: Chartered Accountant / LLB/ LLM (Mandatory)

Experience: Minimum 5 - 7 years of post-qualification and relevant experience with a proven track record and Strong technical knowledge and well-conversant with Direct Tax and International tax regulations. (Mandatory)

Salary: 18 LPA to 20 LPA

Location: Head Office - Hemkunt Colony, Opposite Nehru Place, New Delhi

We seek an experienced Manager - Direct Tax and Regulatory Services. The person will play a key role in managing all aspects of our clients' direct tax (domestic and International Tax) needs, from compliance and advisory services to litigation and representation. You will be responsible for leading a team of tax professionals, ensuring the highest quality of service and exceeding client expectations.

Job responsibilities:

- You will manage work execution involving all aspects of direct taxes, including international tax.

- Assist and support the Team and partner on domestic and international tax engagements and initiatives.

- Drafting of submissions, appeals, etc. to be filed with the respective authorities.

- Representing clients before the tax authorities like AOs, CIT (A), etc. to liaison and present the case.

- Advising clients on the applicability of relevant tax provisions and corresponding amendments in their tax liabilities.

- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of corporate and individual income tax returns, review of tax audits and other statutory reporting.

- Ensuring smooth and effective communication with clients' management.

- Research on tax theories, positions, and precedents and analysis of applicability of the same to specific client needs.

- Preparation of deliverables capturing implications arrived based on the above research in the required format.

- Undertake direct tax due diligence reviews (including scrutinizing past tax issues, records, compliance, etc. of the target) and capture the facts and analysis in a diligence report.

- Keep up with new tax developments and ensure compliance with local rules and regulations.

- Preparation of training presentations on recent tax and regulatory developments.

- Support knowledge-sharing efforts and improve processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant / LLB and/or equivalent degree

- Minimum 5 - 7 years of post-qualification and relevant experience with a proven track record of success.

- Strong technical knowledge and well-conversant with Direct Tax and International tax regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Leadership and team management skills.
