Manager / Deputy Manager - QS & Billing | Thermal Power Plant (BTG)

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation, submission, and certification follow-up of Client RA Bills.
• Verification of quantities from approved drawings, BOQ, and site measurements.
• Preparation of quantity take-offs, quantity reconciliation statements, and billing reports.
• Review and certification of subcontractor/vendor bills.
• Monitoring project revenues, billing progress, and commercial performance.
• Preparation and management of variation orders, change orders, and extra item claims.
• Cost monitoring and project commercial control.
• Preparation of monthly MIS reports, revenue forecasts, and cash flow statements.
• Coordination with Client, PMC, Contracts, Planning, Procurement, and Execution teams.
• Review of contract documents, specifications, BOQ, and billing milestones.
• Support final account settlement, contract closure, and claim management activities.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and internal commercial processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• 12-22 years of experience in QS & Billing/Commercial functions.
• Must have worked on Thermal Power Plants, BTG Projects, FGD, Coal Handling, Ash Handling, Balance of Plant (BOP), Industrial EPC, Steel, Cement, or Heavy Industrial Projects.
• Strong experience in Client Billing, RA Bills, Subcontract Billing, Quantity Surveying, and Cost Control.
• Experience in handling variation claims, quantity reconciliation, and contract administration.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP/SAP systems.
• Willing to work at Kanpur Project Site.
