Manager - Civil

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor civil construction and infrastructure development projects within the manufacturing plant.
• Manage factory building construction, foundations, flooring, roads, drainage, roofing, and other civil infrastructure works.
• Coordinate with internal departments, architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors for project execution.
• Prepare project schedules, cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets, and monitor project expenditure.
• Ensure civil works are completed as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure productivity, workmanship, and safety compliance.
• Monitor plant building maintenance, structural repairs, waterproofing, and facility improvement activities.
• Review civil and structural drawings and coordinate with design consultants for necessary modifications.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, building regulations, environmental standards, and safety procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during project execution.
• Manage material planning, resource allocation, and contractor billing and certification.
• Prepare progress reports and update management on project status, costs, risks, and completion timelines.
