The Manager - CP at Godrej Properties Limited is responsible for leading and managing the procurement function across multiple villa development projects and high-rise construction, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the procurement function across multiple villa development projects and high-rise construction, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Develop and implement category-wise procurement strategies for civil, architectural finishes, MEP, landscape, infrastructure, and villa-specific materials.
- Ensure organisational contract development and management align with integrity, compliance, and corporate governance principles.
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, offering insights on contract performance, partner management, and risk mitigation.
- Support the development and implementation of contracting frameworks for large-scale projects.
- Drive value engineering initiatives and identify alternative materials, vendors, and technologies to improve project profitability.
- Procurement Tendering.
- Manage end-to-end procurement and tendering processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and finalisation.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts for contractors and consultants, ensuring compliance with legal, commercial, and organisational standards.
- Track project budgets, forecast cash flow, and prepare monthly progress and MIS reports.
- Support the pre-qualification and onboarding process for new vendors and contractors, and address vendor-related issues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in contracts and procurement, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
- Relevant experience in procurement for villa, high-rise developments, and luxury residential projects.
- Strong exposure to procurement of civil, finishing, MEP, landscape, and infrastructure packages.
- In-depth knowledge of contract management, procurement processes, and construction materials villa finishes procurement.
Education
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
Key Skills
- Demonstrated experience in contracts and procurement, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in SAP and other financial reporting tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of contract management, procurement processes, and construction materials and villa finishes procurement.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
