Job Summary

MITCON is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the Biofuels & Green Chemistry sector. The role involves developing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting consulting, EPC, and PMC services across bioenergy and sustainable technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in biofuels, CBG/Bio-CNG, ethanol, biodiesel, biomass, biochar, and waste-to-energy.
• Build and maintain relationships with project developers, industrial clients, technology providers, equipment manufacturers, investors, and financial institutions.
• Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and develop a strong business pipeline.
• Promote MITCON's consulting, engineering, EPC, and PMC services.
• Coordinate with technical teams to understand client requirements and prepare proposals, EOIs, RFPs, and tenders.
• Support market research, opportunity assessment, and business development strategy.
• Follow up on proposals and work towards converting opportunities into consultancy assignments and projects.
• Attend client meetings and undertake travel as required for business development activities.

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline; an MBA in Marketing or Business Development is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in business development, sales, or project development in biofuels, renewable energy, biomass, waste-to-energy, or related industrial sectors.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to identify business opportunities and coordinate with technical teams.
