Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Client Service Delivery Lead accounting advisory engagements for insurance sector clients.
• Advise clients on the implementation and interpretation of IND AS 117, Ind AS 109, IFand related accounting standards.
• Support finance transformation and reporting modernization projects.
• Assist clients in designing and enhancing financial close and reporting processes.
• Review accounting position papers, technical memos, and financial statement disclosures.
• Support regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
• Assess accounting implications of new products, transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring activities.
• Review financial reporting frameworks and related internal controls.
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Monitor engagement progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Identify and escalate risks and issues appropriately.
• Ensure delivery quality in accordance with firm methodologies and professional standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with CFOs, Financial Controllers, Chief Actuaries, and Senior Finance stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on complex accounting and reporting matters.
• Coordinate with auditors, actuarial teams, technology teams, and regulatory specialists.
• Present technical accounting conclusions and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead and mentor a team of consultants, senior consultants, and assistant managers.
• Review team deliverables and provide technical guidance.
• Support performance management, coaching, and professional development initiatives.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions within the FAAS Insurance practice.
• Support proposal development, client presentations, and business development initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for cross-service offerings.
• Contribute to thought leadership, publications, and market insights on insurance accounting and reporting topics.
• Build relationships across the insurance industry ecosystem.

Qualifications

To qualify for the role you must have

• Chartered Accountant
