About this role
Job Overview Responsible for the complete Operations and Delivery of the Payroll organization (APAC Payroll - Australia, NZ, Singapore, Korea, Nepal, India etc.). Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations, helping and creating organizational performance. This position working in the management team is responsible in ensuring organizational effectiveness, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices with giving high priority for Compliance to statutory requirements. Process Management: • Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence • Drives culture towards process dependent & People independent • Ensure Accurate and Timely process of the Payroll • Adherence to Compliance – Process & Statutory • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies, support better management reporting and information flow. • Ensure robust controls and checks • Training and performance evaluation for employee. • Cross skilling/training, work load balancing • Ensuring career development of employees, R&R • Foster team play and develop the team. • Supervise and Mentor the team members regularly • Manage escalations & resolve Tier 3 issues • Ensure regular and agreed support (To & From) • Manage and support Internal & External audits • Regular reporting, MIS, etc
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge: • Graduate (Preferably in Commerce) with 8-10 years of relevant experience in managing APAC Payroll for multiple countries/regions (Australia, NZ, Singapore, Korea, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam etc. ) in a Shared services environment • Candidates with experience of working in shared services & Regional / Global environment would be added advantage • In-depth knowledge on Statutory Compliance areas • Acts as an SME for team & stake holders • Good Leadership skills • Possess comprehensive knowledge on Payroll • Good MS Office and advance level skills in Excel • Good Analytical skills • Excellent verbal & written communication
