Manager / AGM - Trade Execution (International)

We are seeking a seasoned Trade Execution professional to lead the end-to-end execution and settlement of international agri-commodity transactions across global markets. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless trade execution, operational excellence, risk management, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction while partnering closely with Trading, Commercial, Freight, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the complete trade execution lifecycle from contract validation through final settlement.
• Manage international trade operations including vessel execution, nominations, cargo movement, documentation, invoicing, and settlements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, trade finance requirements, regulatory standards, and internal controls.
• Drive efficient management of Letters of Credit (LCs), Bills of Lading (BLs), claims, disputes, demurrage, and trade documentation.
• Partner with commercial and trading teams to support profitable business decisions and mitigate execution risks.
• Monitor key performance metrics related to working capital, cash realization, settlement accuracy, and customer service.
• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while driving continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
• Support digital transformation initiatives, process automation, and adoption of trade management technologies.

Who We're Looking For

9-15+ years of experience in International Trade Execution, Commodity Operations, Trade Finance, or Contract Management

Strong expertise in commodity trading, export/import operations, trade settlements, shipping documentation, and vessel operations

Proven experience managing complex international trade portfolios and cross-functional stakeholders

Prior people management experience with strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities

Exposure to SAP, trade finance processes, compliance frameworks, and global trade operations

Preferred Industry Experience

Grains | Oilseeds | Edible Oils | Agricultural Commodities | Bulk Commodity Trading
