Job Description: Manager / Senior Manager Affordability Collections (EMI)

Business: Brand EMI Affordability Function: Collections, Reconciliation, MIS and Invoicing Location: Noida

Role Overview

We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager to own collections for our EMI affordability business with brand partners such as Samsung Mobile, Vivo and other leading brands. The role covers the full cycle from monthly reconciliation with Finance, to MIS reporting, invoicing, payment tracking and collection. The person will work closely with internal teams (Finance, Sales Managers, Product, Tech & Ops) and external stakeholders (Brand teams) and must close reconciliation differences quickly so that invoicing and collections are not delayed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reconciliation

• Coordinate with the Finance team to complete reconciliation for each brand.
• Identify mismatches in reconciliation and drive them to closure by working with the relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure reconciliation is signed off and closed before invoicing is raised.
• Maintain clear records of open items, root causes and resolutions to reduce repeat mismatches.

2. MIS and Reporting

• Create and maintain MIS reports covering reconciliation status, invoicing, outstanding amounts and collections, brand-wise.
• Publish periodic MIS to business, Sales and Finance leadership with clear insights and follow-up actions.
• Track trends such as ageing of receivables, delays and recurring disputes, and flag risks early.

3. Invoicing

• Coordinate with brands, Sales Managers and Finance to get invoices raised accurately and on time after reconciliation closure.
• Ensure invoices meet brand and compliance requirements (documentation, approvals, tax details, etc.).
• Follow up on invoice acceptance, queries and approvals from brand teams.

4. Payment Tracking and Collections

• Track payments brand-wise: amount invoiced, amount received, amount pending and ageing.
• Run a structured follow-up process with brand and sales team to ensure timely collection.
• Escalate delayed or disputed payments to the right internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with Finance to match receipts against invoices and update the status regularly.

5. Stakeholder Management

• Act as the single point of coordination between Finance, Sales Managers, Business teams and brand partners.
• Build strong working relationships with brand counterparts to resolve issues proactively.
• Coordinate across multiple brands and stakeholders at the same time without losing track of timelines.

• Negotiation and escalation skills to drive closure on disputes and pending payments.
• Understanding of invoicing, GST and basic accounting concepts.
• Hands-on experience with monthly reconciliation and invoicing processes.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets (pivots, lookups, reconciliation models) and MIS creation; exposure to dashboards
