Manager, Accounts only CA preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Take end-to-end ownership of Accounts
• Manage and supervise the accounting team and ensure timely completion of day-to-day accounting activities
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual closing of books
• Review and ensure accuracy of P&L, Balance Sheet, ledgers and reconciliations
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, payments and bank reconciliations
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, banks and other external stakeholders
• Prepare and review monthly MIS and management reports
• Monitor outstanding receivables/payables and support effective working-capital management
• Establish and strengthen accounting processes, controls and SOPs
• Identify accounting errors, process gaps and financial leakages and ensure corrective action

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 46 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong hands-on experience in Accounts & Accounting Operations
• Should have experience managing the complete accounting cycle
• Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, reconciliations, month-end closing and statutory compliance
• Experience managing or supervising a small Accounts team
• Experience in logistics, freight, supply chain or a services business would be an advantage
