Manager- Account Payable

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a large global Accounts Payable team and oversee reporting, approvals, and evaluation of AP data.
• Ensure adherence to baseline values for all Service Level Agreements, KPIs, and CPIs.
• Collaborate with the Business Accounting team, internal partners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Drive governance calls with the client and internal teams.
• Oversee the team's critical activities, including invoicing, payments, vendor queries, disputes, audit requests, analysis, and other requests related to the Accounts Payable process.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on critical tasks.
• Oversee internal and external audits, close open points, and establish appropriate controls.
• Review root cause analyses and preventive measures established by the BB team.
• Drive improvement initiatives and create process efficiencies.
• Support metrics reporting for the relevant process.
• Lead people management activities, including hiring, creating structured learning paths, and mentoring the operations team.
• Maintain RLS and staffing requirements.
• Oversee monthly invoicing to the client.
• Ensure smooth month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes.
• Handle internal and external audits through closure.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

• Minimum 14+ years of experience in Finance and Accounts, preferably within the BPO industry.
• Experience in the chemical industry will be an added advantage.
• B.Com., M.Com., MBA in Finance, or CA Inter qualification.
• Flexibility to work across different time zones.
