MedPlus Health Services Limited is currently hiring for the position of Management Trainee Category Manager in the Supply Chain Department.

• WORK LOCATION : Hyderabad
  
• QUALIFICATION: Btech + MBA (Operations/SupplyChain/Finance/International Business)
  
• WORK AGREEMENT : 2 Years

• CTC : Up to 7 LPA (final compensation will be based on interview performance and candidate capability).Throughout the academics (10th to MBA CT), the academic score must be 75% or 7.5 CGPA and above
  
• SHIFT TIMINGS :
  9:30 AM to 7:00 PM during 2nd & 4th Saturday weeks
  9:30 AM to 6:00 PM during 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturday weeks
  Weekly off: 2nd & 4th Saturdays and all Sundays
  
• Experience : 0 to 2 years
  
• Work Location : MedPlus Head Office, Near Kukatpally Y Junction, Balanagar, Hyderabad.
  
  

Job Description:
•    Optimize sales and inventory for a given category of products
•    Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category
•    Provide insights to determine industry and consumer trends
•    Devise long-term development strategies for product categories
•    Developing exit strategies for unsuccessful products
•    Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory
•    Improve vendor relationship to achieve better pricing and quality of services
•    Determine competitive pricing and promotional activities for the category
•    Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories

 Job Requirements
•    An analytical mind with a strategic ability
•    Excellent communication and people skills
•    Proven experience as category manager or similar role a plus
•    Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
•    Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
•    Proficient in MS Office
