About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day accounting and finance activities.
- Record and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Prepare bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Support preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Process invoices, expense claims, and payment-related documentation.
- Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing required information and schedules.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on discrepancies.
- Assist in identifying process improvements and strengthening internal controls.
- Perform other finance and accounting assignments as directed by management
