Management Accounting & FP&A Analyst

Role & Responsibilities

H.S. Specialities is an edible oils and speciality fats manufacturing company based in Salem, Tamil Nadu. We are looking for an early-career Management Accounting & FP&A Analyst to work closely with management and convert operational and financial data into useful business information.

Key responsibilities:
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS and management reports.
• Analyse product costing, margins, contribution and profitability.
• Compare actual performance with standards/budgets and identify variances.
• Analyse raw material consumption, production yield/process loss and conversion costs.
• Perform inventory and stock reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Analyse sales, purchases, production, expenses and working data using Advanced Excel.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and management decision-making.
• Prepare dashboards and concise analytical reports for management.
• Coordinate with Accounts, Production, Stores and other departments for accurate data.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.Com graduate. CMA Intermediate / CMA pursuing / ACCA pursuing or similar management-accounting qualification preferred.
  • 02 years of experience; capable freshers may also apply.
  • Strong Advanced Excel skills are essential, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF functions, data analysis and reconciliation.
  • Good fundamentals in cost accounting and management accounting.
  • Understanding of P&L, inventory, reconciliation, budgeting and variance analysis.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Exposure to Tally/ERP systems is preferred.
  • Candidates should be interested in developing a career in manufacturing finance, management accounting and FP&A.
