Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, experienced and physically fit male caregiver to provide full-time live-in care and daily assistance to an elderly patient in a private family home in Israel.
The ideal candidate should have genuine hands-on caregiving experience. Candidates with a background as a nurse, nursing assistant, hospital caregiver, or elderly-caregiver are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care and assistance to the elderly patient.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and personal hygiene.
- Assist the patient with standing, walking, transfers and general mobility.
- Safely assist an approximately 80 kg patient with transfers and movement.
- Monitor the patient's general condition and provide appropriate day-to-day support.
- Assist with daily routines and activities within the home.
- Provide support and supervision as required.
- Be available to assist the patient during the night when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for the patient.
- Follow the family's instructions and any professional caregiving requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Male candidate, below 40 years of age.
- Strong spoken English is essential.
- Genuine hands-on experience in nursing or elderly caregiving.
- Hospital experience as a nurse or nursing assistant is highly preferred.
- Private-home elderly-care experience is also considered.
- Experience with bathing, feeding, mobility and personal care.
- Physically strong and capable of assisting an approximately 80 kg patient.
- Comfortable with live-in employment and providing assistance at night when required.
- Candidate must be currently residing in India.
- Candidate must never have worked in Israel previously.
