Job Description The Healthcare Major Account Executive is responsible for generating revenue streams for UPS by developing new business relationships and managing existing partnerships between UPS and designated Major Pharma, Biopharma, Medtech, diagnostics and dental manufacturers and distributors based in its territories.
This position executes to our business plans sales and revenue goals by developing sales strategies, building exciting customer solutions and presentations that match up the healthcare sector customers requirements to UPSs broad portfolio of products and services of Small Package Freight Forwarding.
Job Responsibilities - Cultivate strong partnerships with multiple senior decision-makers within customers and UPS organizations.
- Responsible for robust pipeline management using Salesforce and other reporting tools
- Maintain a book of business, build account strategy roadmaps and manage contract renewals and compliance.
- Monitor competitor performance and industry news, share and collaborate across teams to leverage our competitive intelligence.
- Collaborate with the One UPS Sales to exchange leads and support an end to end solution positioning for the healthcare industry.
- Ambition and drive to win.
- Bachelors Degree essential. Logistics / Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years experience in Business Development of International Logistics either express or freight forwarding.
- International complex healthcare logistics (Cold Chain) experience can be a big plus
- Candidate should demonstrate Solution Selling
- Quick learners preferred
- Strong verbal and written English language skills.
- Flexible to travel domestically and if required internationally
- Collaborating with other regions and time zones, should be flexible with working hours.
