Maintenance Trainee

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist the production team in daily manufacturing and shop-floor activities.
• Monitor production processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Support supervisors and senior team members in achieving daily production targets.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Assist in monitoring production quality and identifying process deviations.
• Maintain production records, reports, checklists, and other relevant documentation.
• Support 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments for smooth production operations.
• Help identify and report machine, material, or process-related issues to the concerned team.
• Ensure proper handling of materials, tools, equipment, and finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and discipline on the shop floor.
• Participate in training programs related to production processes, quality, safety, and manufacturing systems.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Freshers and candidates with 01 year of experience can apply.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Knowledge of basic engineering drawings and shop-floor practices is preferred.
• Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and quality concepts will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment and in shifts when required.
• Strong learning attitude, discipline, and willingness to take responsibility.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company standards.
• Candidates who are proactive, adaptable, and interested in building a career in Production & Manufacturing Operations are preferred.
