We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support the assembly, repair and upkeep of our electric vehicles and lifesaving equipment. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and workshop-level fabrication for the EVs, jeeps, jet skis, boats and marine infrastructure used in lifeguarding operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the mechanical assembly of EV components - battery packs, motors, chassis - and support smooth assembly line operations.
- Carry out basic quality checks so assembled parts meet engineering and safety standards.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on beach EVs, jeeps, jet skis, boats, electric bikes and marine infrastructure.
- Assist with corrective maintenance and repairs under supervision to restore equipment to service.
- Carry out cutting, painting, welding and fabrication work as repairs require.
- Assist in the modification and refurbishment of EVs, towers and marine infrastructure.
- Identify and report mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, and support senior technicians in correcting them.
- Keep vehicles, equipment and workshop tools clean, safe and in good working order.
Qualifications Skills
- Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical, Automobile or Marine Engineering.
- Basic understanding of mechanical assembly, electrical systems and maintenance processes.
- Familiar with the tools, fixtures and equipment used in automotive and EV assembly and repair.
- Skilled in cutting, painting, welding and fabrication.
- Exposure to CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is an advantage, but not essential.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, a hands-on attitude and attention to safety standards.
- Physically fit and willing to work in demanding beach and marine environments.
