Job Title Maintenance Technician

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of rotating and static equipment of Chemical industries.
• Maintenance activity of pumps, gearboxes, agitators, blowers, fans, reactors (MSGL and Metallic), heat exchangers (Shell and tube PHE), Vacuum system, valves, and piping systems (welding and fabrication knowledge).
• Perform equipment alignment, bearing replacement, seal replacement, lubrication activities.
• Execute shutdown and turnaround maintenance activities safely and within schedule.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and identify root causes to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret PIDs, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures including PTW (Permit to Work), LOTOTO, confined space entry, and hot work requirements.
• Coordinate with operations, instrumentation, and electrical teams during maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment condition and report abnormalities such as vibration, leakage, overheating, and unusual noise.
• Maintain maintenance records, job cards, checklists, and SAP entries.
• Monitor contractors safety and ensure quality workmanship during maintenance jobs.
• Participate in reliability improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices in maintenance areas.
• Support commissioning and installation of new equipment and modifications and project /PCN/MOC jobs.
• Adhere to ISO, EHS, and company maintenance standards.
• To handle shift maintenance job independently.

• ITI in Mechanical with first class

• 57 years of experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, Specialty Chemical industries.
• Hands-on experience in breakdown maintenance, shutdown activities, and plant maintenance of rotary and static equipment in a chemical plant.
