Maintenance Professional

Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance of hospital electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, generators, air conditioners, water pumps, and other facility systems.

Maintain hospital infrastructure, including doors, windows, lifts, and other civil structures.

Monitor and ensure proper functioning of emergency systems such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, and backup power supply.

Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs, installations, and maintenance contracts.

Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hospital departments.

Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols, fire safety, and NABH standards.

Maintain maintenance logs, records, and reports for management review.

Support hospital during audits, inspections, and emergency preparedness drills.

High school graduate or ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (preferred).

0-3 years of experience in hospital/facility maintenance or similar environment.

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil systems is preferred.

Strong technical knowledge in maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and civil systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues efficiently.

Physical stamina and ability to work in varied hospital environments.

Attention to detail, safety consciousness, and adherence to protocols.

Good communication and coordination with hospital staff and vendors.

Teamwork and flexibility to handle emergency maintenance situations.
