Maintenance Manager

Responsible for leading the overall maintenance and reliability function of the plant, ensuring maximum availability and reliability of CNC and utility equipment. The role will drive preventive/predictive maintenance, breakdown reduction, RCA, TPM, Kaizen, maintenance cost control and team development, while ensuring safety and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC, VTL, SPM and utility equipment.
• Ensure maximum machine availability, MTBF improvement and MTTR reduction.
• Monitor PM compliance, breakdown analysis, machine history and maintenance KPIs.
• Conduct RCA for repetitive/critical breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Drive TPM, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance cost.
• Manage Maintenance Engineers, Supervisors and Technicians; develop team competency through training and skill matrix.
• Ensure availability of critical spares, coordinate with Stores/Purchase and manage external vendors/AMC services.
• Plan and execute shutdown maintenance, machine installation, commissioning and modification projects.
• Ensure compliance with LOTO, electrical safety and other maintenance safety standards.
• Support IATF 16949, ISO 9001, statutory and safety audits and ensure timely closure of observations.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma Mechanical / Electrical
• Relevant experience in automotive/manufacturing plant maintenance, preferably with CNC and utility equipment.
