1. Facility & Infrastructure Management

• Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of hospital buildings and utilities.
• Ensure continuous functioning of HVAC, electrical systems, DG sets, UPS, elevators, plumbing, and STP/WTP systems.
• Maintain medical gas pipeline systems and coordinate with vendors for compliance checks.

2. Equipment & Utility Maintenance

• Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain logs and documentation for all maintenance activities.
• Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, diesel) and implement cost-control measures.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with NABH standards and other statutory regulations.
• Oversee fire safety systems, conduct mock drills, and coordinate inspections.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols in all maintenance activities.

4. Vendor & AMC Management

• Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and service agreements.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
• Coordinate with external agencies for statutory approvals and inspections.

5. Team Management

• Supervise maintenance technicians, electricians, plumbers, and support staff.
• Provide technical guidance and training.
• Prepare duty rosters and ensure 24/7 coverage.

6. Budgeting & Reporting

• Prepare annual maintenance budgets.
• Monitor expenses and optimize operational costs.
• Submit monthly reports on maintenance performance and incidents.
