Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager for the Steel Melting Shop is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities related to equipment and facilities within the SMS to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance Planning and Execution:
1. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans for all equipment in the SMS, including induction furnaces, ladles, transformers, water cooling systems, etc.
2. Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities during planned shutdowns to minimize production downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during maintenance activities.

5. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
6. Analyze root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
7. Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability.
