Maintenance Head

Job Summary Responsibilities

• Ensure minimum equipment breakdowns and maximum machine availability across the plant.
• Implement and strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
• Analyze breakdowns and drive permanent corrective actions to eliminate repetitive failures.
• Monitor and control maintenance costs while ensuring optimum spares inventory management.
• Lead machine installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure timely completion of all projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate effectively with production, purchase, and external vendors for seamless execution of maintenance and projects.
• Ensure effective utilization and compliance of ERP/SAP maintenance systems.
• Maintain audit readiness and ensure zero major non-conformities.
• Liaise with government authorities for maintenance-related statutory compliance.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and statutory regulations across all maintenance activities.
• Lead, manage, and develop the maintenance team, including building second-line leadership and succession planning.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance systems
• Expertise in Preventive Predictive Maintenance (PM PdM)
• Understanding of TPM, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and reliability improvement techniques
• Knowledge of utilities (compressors, chillers, boilers, electrical panels, etc.)
• Familiarity with ERP/SAP maintenance modules
• Understanding of statutory compliance and safety regulations (Factory laws, electrical safety, etc.)
