Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or related discipline.

Role Purpose

Lead maintenance engineering and reliability initiatives to maximize plant equipment availability, reliability, maintainability and lifecycle performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance philosophy and reliability strategies.
• Establish preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Develop critical equipment and spare-parts strategies.
• Conduct RCA, FMEA and failure analysis.
• Review maintainability requirements during project engineering.
• Support commissioning and maintenance handover.
• Establish equipment reliability standards and maintenance KPIs.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation maintenance.
• Optimize maintenance manpower, cost and spare inventory.
• Implement reliability improvement and predictive maintenance initiatives.
• Ensure statutory inspection and HSE requirements.

The ideal candidates should have:

• 15 - 25 years of total professional experience.
• Strong experience in steel, metals, heavy engineering, EPC or large industrial projects.
• Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects will be preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong EPC contractor and technology supplier management experience.
• Experience in commissioning and plant ramp-up is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of industrial HSE requirements.
• Willingness to work from Mumbai/Navi Mumbai and travel to project sites as required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within schedule, budget and quality requirements.
