Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance of machinery, electrical systems, and plant equipment at our Periyapalayam facility. Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Assist in maintaining motors, pumps, electrical panels, wiring, and other industrial equipment, as applicable.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure smooth plant operations.
• Carry out regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures.
• Coordinate with the production team to minimise machine downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown reports.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.
• Assist in the installation, repair, and servicing of machinery.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering trade.
• 02 years of experience in industrial maintenance; freshers can also apply.
• Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to learn and work in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively with the maintenance and production teams.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates residing in or around Periyapalayam, Tiruvallur, and nearby areas.
• Candidates with hands-on knowledge of electrical or mechanical maintenance will have an advantage.
