Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

Responsible for the maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment, including Machine Tools, EOT Cranes, Hydra Cranes, Welding Machines, and automation systems such as VFD, PLC, and CNC panels. This role ensures minimum downtime and the smooth operation of all mechanical systems to support uninterrupted production.

Job Description:

1. Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and electrical systems.

2. Troubleshoot VFD, PLC and CNC panels to minimize machine downtime.

3. Carry out electrical maintenance of machine tools and welding machines.

4. Attend electrical issues related to EOT and Hydra cranes.

5. Monitor and troubleshoot automation and control systems used in plant equipment.

6. Identify electrical faults and coordinate with the mechanical maintenance team for quick breakdown resolution.

7. Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and breakdown records for electrical equipment.

8. Read and interpret electrical/control drawings for troubleshooting and maintenance activities.

9. Hands-on knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and alignment.
