Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for plant machinery and equipment.
• Monitor the performance and condition of machines and identify potential maintenance issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other equipment-related problems, as applicable.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime through timely breakdown analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment breakdowns and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Maintain records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance, spare parts, and machine history.
• Identify critical spare parts and coordinate with the concerned team for timely availability.
• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine reliability, productivity, and maintenance efficiency.
• Coordinate with external vendors/service providers for equipment servicing and technical support when required.
• Prepare and share maintenance-related reports with the reporting manager.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
• Must knowledge about with Capacitors and Power Quality, Panel
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in plant/machinery maintenance.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
• Ability to work effectively with production and cross-functional teams.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Candidates with experience in a manufacturing/engineering industry will be preferred.
