Job Summary
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Silvassa

Responsibilities - Maintenance Planning Execution: Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment (e.g., furnaces, rolling mills, cranes, conveyors, pumps, etc.).
- Manage day-to-day breakdown maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Coordinate with the production team to plan maintenance activities with minimal impact on operations.
- Team Management: Lead a team of maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Allocate daily jobs, monitor progress, and ensure safety compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
- Equipment Asset Management: Maintain records of equipment history, downtime, and repair logs.
- Ensure availability of critical spares and consumables.
- Coordinate with vendors for outsourced maintenance and AMC services.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and statutory regulations.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures or major breakdowns.
- Implement safety systems like LOTO, fire prevention, and machine guarding.
- Cost Energy Optimization: Monitor maintenance budgets and control costs.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce maintenance-related costs.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in Kaizen, TPM, 5S, and lean maintenance initiatives.
- Introduce new technologies or automation for better plant performance.
